Worldwide Internet Classifieds

The success story that is now Worldwide Internet Classifieds, Inc. began with one idea in November 1998. It was at that time that Bryan Sussman, President, launched RestMart.com, the Internet’s leading on-line classifieds for the restaurant industry—an idea that procured a feature in Entrepreneur Magazine. Bryan reflects, “I was working as a restaurant broker then and it seemed like a very natural progression for the business of buying and selling restaurants to go on-line. I am still amazed at the great success that we have enjoyed!”   Little did Sussman know at the time, that he was first in line for many other companies to copy, compete against, and follow his visions. However, competition or not, RestMart.com has proven to be a premier site of its kind, which attracts thousands of buyers and sellers within the restaurant industry.  “Everyone who’s anyone in the restaurant industry knows about RestMart.com!” boasts Sussman.

Seven years later, Worldwide Internet Classifieds’ roster now includes four other websites: MusicianHunter.com, CraftsBuySell.com, HealthAndBeautyFinder.com, and PsychicLoveConnection.com.  The premise of each website is on-line classifieds which is also the niche market that the company has found for itself. All websites are registered with the top search engines and rank high in relevant word searches. Additionally, more traditional modes of advertisement (magazines, trade publications, newspapers, etc.) are employed to draw traffic to the websites.

MusicianHunter.com was launched in September 2000 and is a heavily trafficked forum for musicians to connect with one another. For musicians who are available to join an existing band to individuals looking for likeminded musicians to form a band, all musicians can fill their missing link here. Visitor Chris Borson, a guitarist from Ohio said, "Without a doubt, MusicianHunter is the best local music site out there for musician classifieds and band wanted ads."

CraftsBuySell.com, which features classifieds from “ordinary people selling extraordinary crafts,” was open for business in August 2002. Crafts sold on the site currently include broad categories such as furniture, quilts, jewelry, accessories, and crafts.  However, additional categories are added according to demand and request.

The newer website additions include HealthAndBeautyFinder.com and PsychicLoveConnection.com both of which were started in 2004.  HealthAndBeautyFinder.com is geared towards professionals in the health and beauty industry, i.e. personal trainers, nutritionists, massage therapists, etc. This website was created to help these professionals advertise their services to individual clients as well as to health clubs, spas, and salons. Conversely, establishments may also advertise to look for professionals to join their winning team.

Lastly, PsychicLoveConnection.com is a community of psychics and advisors for those seeking advice regarding relationships, careers, and life in general. Visitors to the website are able to call advisors, schedule appointments, and leave feedback on the accuracy of their personal readings.

With five websites to date, Bryan says, “This is just the beginning of what I envision Worldwide Internet Classifieds, Inc. to become.  Our huge success thus far makes me confident that on-line classifieds are still growing in popularity and usage.” The company continuously updates the current websites to keep up with technology and changing client preferences. In fact, their RestMart.com website underwent an $18,000 makeover in early 2005 just to stay on the cutting edge of technology for its visitors.  Sussman also has plans to open more websites in the near future.  Although details of the new site [plans] are not being disclosed.
