RestMart.com’s Redesign: Just What the Restaurateur Ordered

BOCA RATON, FL- The old saying may be “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” but in the world of Internet business, delivering changes that improve a user’s experience is key to staying at the top of the game.  This is exactly what RestMart.com, the restaurant industry’s leading on-line classifieds since its launch in 1998, has achieved with the introduction of its website redesign.

Bryan Sussman, President of the company, said, “The past seven years have seen phenomenal growth in website traffic—buyers, sellers, and an abundance of brokers—and it is this growth that made me realize that RestMart.com had grown up and was now serving a larger, more complex customer base.” Visitors to RestMart.com will find it easier and faster to navigate the thousands of advertisements for restaurants for sale, post an advertisement and inquire about an advertisement. Additionally, a well-trained staff is available to assist you through telephone, email, or live chat.

Still, the original services and features that have made RestMart.com a huge success remain the same. The site is registered to over 200 of the Internet's top search engines and will generally rank within the top 3 listings of all relevant keyword searches. Thousands of visitors come to the website through search engine ranking as well as through RestMart.com's popular link affiliate program, and daily advertisements in local and national newspapers and magazines such as Nation's Restaurant News, Restaurant Business Magazine, Restaurants and Institutions Magazine, Today's Restaurant News, and Entrepreneur Magazine.  Advertisers also benefit from the service as opt-in buyers are alerted to new advertisements via e-mail. Other resources that RestMart.com offer are a referral service for those buyers requiring restaurant financing, tips for buying and selling, and special offers for brokers.

Since the redesign in early 2005, traffic to the website has increased 18%.  Accordingly, new advertisement postings have increased as well. On the user end, feedback to the website has also been very positive. John Stanton, a broker in Madison, WI, recently wrote, “I have been using this site for several years now and was pleasantly surprised to see the new look. It is nice to see that this is an active company that keeps up with the times.” Other visitors have commented that the new features allow for faster searches and ease of use.

The main benefit of the redesign for users is that it has allowed for RestMart.com to be even more very competitively priced. For a limited time right now, a broker can post an unlimited number of ads for only $74.99 a month.

If the first five months of performance are any indicator, then Bryan expects 2005 to be “a landmark year.  I think this redesign will be a new era for RestMart.com. We are poised to take the company to another level of success!”
